Okay I need help.
I have uploaded movies in the past with iPhone 5 using iMovie to YouTube 1080p.
But as of Christmas now I always get a "failed to upload video" message.
It will make it almost to the end, and then get the error.
Have any of you had this issue and been able to fix it?

By the way, I can upload these videos to YouTube from pc. I can also load from camera Roll to YouTube too.
But I prefer to use iMovie because it uploads at higher resolution.
Please help, thanks

Yes it's the latest version. It also did it with last version.
One it worked, the next it didn't
I originally thought I had reached a limit on YouTube
So I removed some old videos
That didn't fix it either.
Then I thought it was length, cause it was longest I had done yet at 8:31.
But looking on YouTube, I'm well within their constraints
Now, I'm trying to upload a video 1:31, and still fails.
All videos have been made with iPhone 5 and then put in iMovie
It exports to camera roll just fine.

I haven't seen one.
The app for iOS is not as extensive as desktop version
I'll look more. But I've never seen anything regarding file type
What should it be set to if I find something

----------

is there any option in the filetype you want to upload like .avi .mov ?

Okay I checked. There are no file settings for iMovie on iOS

I have also just now created a new you tube account and used that to sign in. I had read it was a problem with older YouTube accounts.
That didn't fix it either. Same issue.
