40 Mbps download, 47 Mbps upload. Etisalat in Dubai. Highest download I had was 57 Mbps, but the upload was only 18.

iPhone 5.

The unfortunate part of this update .... each test now burns 80 MB of data per test.

UPDATE: It seems the ping, server distance and speeds will determine your data usage per test.

UPDATE x2: Just did another bunch of tests

I've always used a further server for my testing, it's about 31 KMs and the closest server to me is 2 KMs never gives me the right speed results since they're so congested.

I'm in the Toronto/Markham area

1) Oakville server retest burned 50mb with results of 30mb DL & 12mb UL

2) Toronto server burned 35mb w/ inaccurate speeds of 5.1mb DL & 17mb UL

Helendale, CA. Our towers just started picking up LTE last Tuesday, you can imagine I'm pretty damn happy coming from 3G speeds!! Which I was lucky to get 1mb download speeds on a good day with 3G. Bought my iPhone 5 three weeks ago, perfect timing. Now I get LTE everywhere I go pretty much.

Seems like the carrier is still working on bringing LTE to this city.
By chance I found out I had a 4g connection when I was checking the time.
Sadly it covered a very limited area, and when I needed it the most it went back to 3g. Would have been nice to have it while waiting to get my hair cut 😛

-60dB signal strength and wasted a lot of data

This is my final speedtest testing until Ookla comes out with an update that doesn't burn so much data per test and 80 -90 MB per test is not cool.

AT&T Boston

Brookline area

I always got 45+ speeds from my house, but it looks like AT&T either turned up the juice or I have another tower even closer to my house now
