iPhone 5 and 4S- 8.5 MP photos ?

Hi guys,I was just looking at my pics in aperture,and some of the pics which have been taken in the camera+ app on both the 5 and 4S show at 3346x2530 (8.5mp) 😱.

How is this possible when they both hve an 8.0mp camera 😕

That's weird that they say the smaller the number,but still some photos still show 8.0mp,some 8.5mp,I guess it can variate between photos ?

Sounds like you are looking at file size?? MB's not MP's. That can vary with compression. Resolution will not vary. 😎
