iphone 5 camera issue

I have upgraded to the latest ios version. Notice that there are times when the camera has purple distortion lines. What could be the reason and a possible fix? More often than not, this is noticeable in incandescent light. But sometimes even in normal day light.

Sounds like you're trying to take photos into the light source. A pic would be handy
