Just ordered the same config. Impatiently waiting, any idea how long before BTO orders ship out?

Thanks for the update. I called Apple and got the shipping upgraded to Next day. I'm hoping it'll ship out tomorrow.

I got my refurb 13" rMBP. I could swear that it's a new machine. It's in perfect condition, and the screen is out of this world. It replaced my 2010 MBA, and I couldn't be happy about the upgrade! This computer will be getting me through my Ph.D. dissertation and lots and lots of statistical analyses. I think it'll be a good companion.

New here been using macs for years and 2 weeks ago I brought a new macbook pro 13inch (non retina) and love it. I installed 16gb of ram, very fast and love the new design, did not opt for the retina, no need for the fancy display and little harddrive. The display to me on the mbp is beautiful and I can hook it up to my desktop display anyway if needed. I already had a incase sleeve 5yrs old and still like new also installed the speck matt black shell and love it. I cant believe how quiet it is compared to my old white macbook. The gestures some i had to turn off lol i kept hitting the trackpad with 2 fingers everytime or all the time.

Time to update. The misses has been using my MBP a lot, so it's turned into the family MBP. Can't have that, so I just purchased the stock mid-2012 cMBP. Getting 16 Gigs of RAM in the mail in a day or two, and have everything backing up to the home-NAS in timemachine.

Best I've felt about the home situation in a long time.

Just came home today with my new rMBP 13 256HD. It replaced a new Air 13 128hd.

So far so good.

Got mine at BestBuy for $1519 before taxes. Its not the brand new version but great price!

Picked up a 13' 2.5 ghz rMBP open box at Best Buy for $1,269. Made sure to check and saw it only had 5 battery cycles. No complaints here!

Just picked up my 13" MBP 4GB/500GB HD. Upgraded the RAM, took out the superdrive and installed an SSD drive in its place.

So far I like how this book performs. Fairly quick and quiet Sad to say....this little laptop contains more RAM than what is installed in my MacPro...

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 13" retina. My two options:

Late 2012 2.5 w/ 256gb for $1498
Early 2013 2.6 w/ 256gb for $1599

I know that they are virtually identical computers, especially for my use. It would probably be silly to spend an extra $100 when I'll probably never notice the difference.

I'd go 15" for the nvidia graphics if $1,800 is in your budget.

just received my 13" rMBP 2.9 I7 8/512 refurb..can't tell the difference between a new one..absolutely pristine shape and I'm digging it. I currently have a late 2009 iMac 27"..debating on whether to sell it or just use it as a target display..will definitely wait for the thunderbolt display refresh before making a decision..so I'm in Mac heaven.

Proud owner to a Mid 2012 MBP 15" 2.3ghz i7, 4gb ram and 500gb HDD. Had it for exactly 1 months.

Recently upgraded the ram to 16gb (Crucial) and ordered an SSD today (Samsung 840 500gb).

So far, I am loving it!

Thanks for the advice. I went with a 2.3 15 inch base model. My school IT store had them on sale for $1898. It was more than the 13 inch I was looking at and I'll lose some portability, but the performance more than makes up for it.

I want it to arrive soooooon! But it claims "delivered 22/03/2013 - 27/03/2013"

Is it really going to take a month for my mbp to get here?
