Apple Seeds iOS 6.1.3 Beta 2 to Developers with Fix for Passcode Lock Bug
![]() As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple has seeded iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 to developers. In line with our suspicions following the launches of iOS 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 emergency bug fixes released over the past two weeks, the original iOS 6.1.1 beta track has now been relabeled as iOS 6.1.3 with this second beta. ![]() The release of the new beta comes just over two weeks after the release of the first beta version, although at least part of Apple's team has undoubtedly been sidetracked by rushing the emergency Wi-Fi and Exchange bug fixes through development. A target date for a public release of iOS 6.1.3 is unknown. Article Link: Apple Seeds iOS 6.1.3 Beta 2 to Developers with Fix for Passcode Lock Bug |

All these updates? Seriously? Could they not have gotten all of this right within one update?
Wouldn't have happened under Jobs!

A fix for the wifi issues plaguing some iPhone 5, 4S and 4 users would be nice...

Seems like Apple is pumping out improvements faster instead of bundling them into one massive release.
IMHO this is a good trend.

It means that the program (ver. 1.4 I believe) hasn't been built to recognize the 6.1.3 firmware.

It won't be too long until people recount "memories" of him walking on water and feeding 10,000 people from 5 magic mice and a MacBook Air!

If the only fixes are Japanese maps issues and passcode bug, does it really need to go through two betas?

Yes, I don't really have a problem with it because of incremental updates. iOS 6.1.2 was just around 12 MB for me, about the same as updating an app!

Yeah I get that part but it's a bit misleading because for all we know evasi0n might work with 6.1.3 and the dev team will release an update after it's released to the public.
