3rd party remote issues

I'm using a URC-A6 remote as it was much cheaper than a harmony.

It does all my apple tv needs EXCEPT the hold down center button feature from the apple remote. (it brings up subtitle menu)

When i hold down my center button on my 3rd party remote, it interprets it only as pressing the center button once instead of a hold down.

Can't seem to find anything on google about this.

Ideas?
