Ive been looking for an answer and searching he web for God knows how long. Does anyone know why Apple hasn't addressed the issue of not being able to tell which particular number you are messaging, if for example the contact has multiple numbers or accounts. Like if you "call" a contacts work number for example below the name it says "work". Wouldn't it help for Apple to do the same thing in the messages app, where they had the name of the account or contact detail just underneath the name, all we are able to tell is whether or not its an iMessage enabled account, or a lengthy option would be to store the same contact with different names in your address book, according to which number or account your calling.
Someone please help.... Dru |

Re: diffrenciating between different numbers for the same contact in messages
Yeh that is one way around it, but im talking about something more integrated, like having the number type underneath the contact name or something. If they have alot of different number that are non iOS for example that makes it even more difficult, at least with iMessage they are usually synced across all devices so they will get the message either way...
