iPhone 4/4S on Tiger
Will iphone 4 and 4S respectively work on Tiger, that is for importing photos in iPhoto 7 (iLife'08)? Syncing with iTunes not necessary.

Sorry, I don't think it will. I raised this point prior to the 4 launch (was running a Rev 1 MBP with Tiger and a broken superdrive, it was an...ordeal to get upgraded) but no one seemed to care... I mean, the best way would be to plug it in, but since iTunes can't read it I doubt if Image Capture/iPhoto will. My best suggestion would be to email them or set up dropbox on the phone.

I think the best way to tell would just to be to plug your iPhone in with iTunes closed. Its a good question because the tech specs of the iPhone 4 only says "Requires 10.6.8 for Syncing with iTunes".

Seems like it does work fine with iPhoto. Only thing is a message "iTunes 10.6.3 is needed for this iPhone" appearing every time it's connected to the Mac. Is there a way to disable this message?
