So I bought the lightning connector so that I could connect my 30 pin to it and use it to play music in my car via the aux connection.

It was working fine until yesterday, today morning when I plugged it in it was loose and I tried to keep pushing it in for a tight fit, but it wouldn't. so I try to play music and it wont play music through the car speakers.

should I take it to the apple store, any ideas how to fix this.

Well, it's either the adapter or the socket on your phone. Does the phone charge properly? Do other Lightning connectors lock in properly or are they all loose?

Apple should replace it if it is not working correctly.
