Let me rephrase that statement a little bit: after reading the comments on the Nifty kickstarter page from customers who have received their drives, they are a complete mess, badly build and have traces of glue everywhere. They also report that because the way the drive is made, an error occurs when you try to save something to the microsd card. The computer thinks that the sd card is write protected so it doesn't allow writing to it. This can be remedied by sticking a piece of paper behind the microsd card or cutting a notch in the Nifty drive. Conclusion: even your build quality is better.
