Hi all,
I work for a school district in which there are a ton of student users. We use mounted network drives as storage for all their files, but we're having a problem with students being able to move those files and their encapsulating folders around.
I've toyed around with folder permissions, but as far as I can tell, it's an all-or-nothing type deal. Basically, what we'd like is for students to be able to save and access files but not move folders around, without denying them read/write access altogether.
Thanks for your advice in advance!
Most of our macs are running 10.7.5.
