-All of these dates have been on Monday

WWDC 2007 - June 11
WWDC 2008 - June 9
WWDC 2009 - June 8
WWDC 2010 - June 7
WWDC 2011 - June 6
WWDC 2012 - June 11

Now look at Moscone Center's event page.

June 2-5: Taken
June 15-18: Taken
June 19: Taken
June 22-26: Taken

Notice a blank space from June 6-14? Most likely WWDC 2013 will be during this time. Remember WWDC lasts 4 days with the first day being for major announcements.

I think Apple is returning to pre-iPhone 4S announcements. Like in WWDC 2010, Steve Jobs showed off the iPhone 4 and iOS 4.

They can also have it somewhere else, but we will see what happens if June is the date, so far it seems rumor to be August but no one but the Apple ppl know

Most likely there will be a June event for iOS 7, but not the 5S. IOS full public releases are tied ti new iPhone hardware, and app developers and beta testers haven't even had a beta of iOS 7 in their hands yet. So, that will need to be introduced first. More likely than not at WWDC.

Then, a couple months later, we'll likely see the hardware.

June - Event for iOS 7 but no release.
iPhone 5S releases in early Q4 2013 along with iOS 7 .

That's my guess.

Agreed with the two quoted posters; this is the way it has worked the last few years.

Wasn't iOS 4 introduced on March '10?

don't really see a reason why they shouldnt release iphone 5s and iOS7 on the same day. Because, let's be honest, do you really expect apple to introduce something so new, that developers would actually need extra time for it? Iphone 5s is only going to be a little faster iphone 5 so there's really no need to release it 3 months later. Fact.

And besides all, Apple will NEED to release new iphone in june, otherwise they're gonna get their ass kicked by Samsung by the time the new iphone arrives in, let's say, october.

Great timing, if this really turns out to be the case! Going to Turkey with my girlfriend the 13th of June. I had planned to buy a new Galaxy S4 before going, although I'm a bit uncertain of whether I should wait and see iOS 7 before jumping ship. Oh well, this gives me the opportunity to decide before leaving. :)

Given how fast tickets sell out for WWDC these days it seems like they should be looking for bigger venue. Even maybe pre-annouce when they go on sale with a "roadmap" press event. Still that would need to be very soon if it's going to happen.

For WWDC? I doubt it. They can't fit 5000 people at Apple HQ. Its going to be at Moscone Center.

For a separate iPhone 5S event? Probably.

3 months to beta test iOS 7.

So count on 2-3 months from time iOS 7 beta is announced.

So if iOS 7 is announced in June 2013. Don't expect new iPhone until September.

iPhone 4S was delayed about one month. Apple really wanted it to be release in Sept 2011 but software (probably Siri wasn't ready)

Pretty much every new iOS feature is just a property that Apple bought and integrated into their OS.

It's more likely to be October.

I've been wanting to update since the 4s but I was still in contract. Then news of the 5 came out so I decided to wait. Turned out with the 5 you needed an Intel Mac for iTunes, so had to wait. Now got a new iMac I'm waiting again. While I know the 5 is way better then my 3Gs I just can't bring my self to get on with the 5s around the corner especial considering any new iPhone is going to double my monthly phone bill being on a higher plan here in Australia.

So I'll wait, I'm also after an iPad and yes I'm waiting for the Mini update.

iOS 6 needed 3 months in beta testing to be released and it was almost a .2 release. Expecting iOS 7 to be a major update (ala iOS 4-iOS5) it will sure need those 3 months.

I can't bring myself to believe that iOS 7 will come out with the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5S should not be anything new, because let's be honest, iOS 6 isn't even finished yet.

Anyone think Apple will drastically change WWDC this year?

June 10-14 is the only spot left in June.

There are new rumors that it could be released in June/July.

The big mystery is iOS 7.

Change it in what way? If you mean changing it by announcing iOS 7 and the new iPhone at WWDC then I have no doubt they'll preview iOS 7, but I'm kind of on the fence about them announcing the new iPhone at the same time. Part of me says they will, but the other part says no.
