The Mas Design Titanium Back for the iPhone 4 Thread

From what I remember you will lose around 3-8db. I think my numbers were around 82-85 naked, and with the Ti and Vapor 88-90. When my carbon fiber series back comes in I'll try to get some solid numbers. Naked, with the Ti, carbon etc...

I really like the way it looks. It does add quite a bit of weight. I have a Vapor Pro and it does fit around my iPhone with the back, but leaving the Vapor Pro on really detracts from the back

Looks like your phone is white. Does it seem to be too much contrast with the white front? How did it look with the case? Do u have any pics of that?

I still keep coming back to this thread and wanting on of these backs, but I like to switch up the look of my phone and $89 each is still too much🙁. They need a deal if you buy 2 or 3 so I can switch things up when I want to.

I actually think that the contrast between the white and the blue is really nice. It would probably be much more subtle on a black phone. I didn't take any photos with the case on. I didn't much care for the way that the Vapor Pro looked around my iPhone even before I got the Mas Design back

Thank you for remindering the price. Contacted the seller and he agreed and changed the price to match with MAS DESIGN, which is $3 difference. Ordered one SANDBLAST. Will post the review once I receive it.
 
problems ordering

Has anyone had problems ordering from the site? After I entered all my information and my credit card info, it kicked me back to the main page, and then asked me to create an account. My order wasn't in my history, and my card still hasn't been charged. I sent an email to the site (sales@mas.......) and am kind of bummed out that this has happened. Hopefully it'll work itself out, because hey look awesome.

Any thought guys? Thanks in advance!

just got my sandblasted back-cover back from the laser engraving shop.
unfortunately the letters of the iphone-writing are not 100% similar (little bit thinner than original), but still looks great for me. don't know if they did a special engraving type, or if it's because of the titanium characteristics, but the shining of the engraving looks very special, depending of the angle, from where you're looking and the light is coming from, it turns from a very dark grey to a very shiny white.

Back protector for the Rust Ti

I've read the rust back scratches very easily. Is anyone w/ the Rust back using a back protector? If so which brand?

EDIT: Finally got it to fit. I had to really force the driver into the star head slot but I got the backplate on. 🙂

For those that care, with the backplate on the 4S weighed 15 grams more.
