I'm running Internet Recovery on my rMBP to restore to factory settings. When I initially started installing it, it showed 190gb of 250gb being available as free space. That tells me that there is already another operating system and then some still on the Mac. Does it get wiped when Internet Recovery completes?

I haven't done an in-place reinstall for several years so I don't know whether this is still the case, but it used to move the old System and related folders into a "Previous Systems" folder. Do you have any sort of extra telltale folder in the root of your hard drive?
