Is anyone here familiar with pricing trends in Apple Certified Refurbished? More specifically, I am looking into getting a rMBP 15" and they are currently about 20% off and I would like to know if this % likely increase through the months or when a newer version comes out?

Since it will be a generation older when the new ones come out, the price will go down with almost 100% certainty.

Out of the current notebooks on the refurb section, the highest % is 21%, even with some from October 2011. Is 20-21% likely the highest discount someone can expect from apple refurb?

Probably. the 17" MBP is 24% off, so I would say 25% is the highest it goes, but who knows?
