Got these same speakers from Best Buy for $139. and worth every penny. You won't believe the sound.

Fine, I'll +1 the B&W speakers as i've heard them. Sound awesome but pushing the price envelope slightly.
Myself I have some older Monsoon MH 500 computer speakers, electrostatic tweeters and well-matched sub. Sounds damn smooth, clear and accurate bass (but not wall-pounding) and for $80.
I personally think people who demand ground-shattering levels of bass have blown cilia from too many concerts or something. I know a couple of people who couldn't sense bass if it slapped them in the face.

These suggestions are great. However, they all appear to be focused on a single monitor setup where the speakers can sit on each side to give a good experience. But for a triple monitor setup, what suggestions would you guys recommend. I guess I could place a speaker at each end of the farthest monitor or something else. I currently have the Audyssey resting behind the main monitor (TB Display)(iMac)(TB Display). A low profile would be cool sitting under the monitor but haven't found a good solution yet.
Sorry for not responding any time sooner.............did you find out how to hook up the speakers?
