I just bought Final Cut Pro, now I have two of them.

I had the trial version of Final Cut Pro on my iMac. Today when I was gonna launch it, it said that the trial had expired, and it gave me two options: QUIT or BUY NOW. I clicked BUY NOW. Typed in my Apple ID, and waited for the download to finish.

Once it finished I noticed that I now have the trial version AND the full version as two separate applications. Real smooth, Apple!

How do I get rid of the trial but not the one I bought?

just drag trial version with associated files to trash then empty trash.
