Air Conflicts: Vietnam
Wow, didn't hear about this one until I dug up the news buried months ago at IMG. Anyways, looking forward to this one. From the sound of the press release, seems like they are going for a middle ground between "realistic flight combat" sim and an arcade flight shooter, throwing in a mission-to-mission role-playing campaign theme. Actually, that sounds fun to me!
And multiplayer modes is a nice bonus. Vietnam Era fighter jets .... AND choppers! Press release makes it sound like plans for simultaneous Mac and PC release in Q3 2013. 😱
P.S. --- not sure about if we would have the option to fly as a Vietcong MiG fighter pilot. That would be fun. This may be the closest thing I can play in recent times that reminds me of the old Mac game "Chuck Yeager's Air Combat".
