I live in Middletown 07748, and we finally have great LTE Service all around, however wondering how this compares to other AT&T LTE locations.

I am getting

44.88 down
12.41 up
ping 61ms

Depends on distance as well. I've been right next to what looks like an AT&T tower and got 51Mbps down/18Mbps up in the middle of the day.

Not really. I push 40+ in peak hours here in boston

Do you think I'm lying?

Just ran a speed test right now. Also, read the following performance review of AT&T.

"18.6 MBPS AVG
57.7 MBPS MAX (AVERAGED)" download and

"9.0 MBPS AVG
19.6 MBPS MAX (AVERAGED)" upload.

I really have no benefit to lying about mine being on par with the average...

When I first got the iphone 5 I used to get 30-50.

since last week, AT&T LTE is FINALLY live and working in Florham Park and Madison!!!

Last time I had AT&T in December, I was getting one bar of LTE in Springfield and summit. The map said we were blanked but it wasn't and the phone would revert to 4G. And as for Essex, last time I saw the LTE cut off was in east orange.

I've had great LTE from Verizon in northern/central NJ ever since the first 4G phones back in 2011 (had a droid charge).

I hardly think he was calling you a liar. At any rate I see up to 20 Mb/s in congested areas at peak times (nice speeds considering) and in my home at peak times I hover easily at 35+ Mb/s.

Upload always tends to be on the 12Mb/s range.
