So I went in and bought a 16gb iPad Mini last week. Moving over from my Nexus 7. Still have an android phone though, which i love. That is a bit of the background.

I love the iPad so much now. My question is should I return the 16gb and get a 32? I have about 2gb free and it seems like with magazines and such I might fill it up quickly. But then at the price increase to 16gb, I don't know if I should just get the ipad 4 instead? It seems like if i'm going to spend the money, get the better iPad.

Obviously a personal decision but what do you all think?

ipad mini with 32gb will be adding $100, to 16gb one. still come out less expensive than ipad 4 16gb. if money is not a matter get the 32gb ipad 4 will be better for you.

It all really comes down to size. I also used to think 32GB was too much, but I recently filled it and I owe that mostly to some movies for a flight I had to take and Next Issue, that is eating a ton of space.

I like the larger one but for travel, I long the smaller one.

If you after a retina display and much better performance, then yes get the ipad 4. Pretty much a no brainer

But if your just want size, mini ftw.

I'd say go with the 32gb mini. Retina display or not, apps are getting larger and the 16gb will fill up quickly and then you are SOL. The mini screen isn't that bad I had one. It wasn't retina quality but not as bad as some make it out to be.

If you get the iPad 4, you'd be spending more money and it won't even solve the problem that made you want to buy something different in the first place. More gigs! Go for the 32GB Mini.

Congrats! I think you'll be very happy.

I have a 64GB iPad 3 and I can't put it down. As much as I love the mini, I like the big screen size and resolution of the 3 and 4.

I just had to delete some things because I used up my memory. Mostly magazines, comics, tv, and a few movies.

I recently ditched my mini and went back to my iPad 3. Love the retina and the bigger screen. Don't love the weight, but I'll live.

Something important to consider:
Lower resolution = smaller app sizes.

When I had a 16GB iPad 4, I ran out of space very quickly. The pictures were bigger, graphics were larger. I ended up paying the difference to sell my 16GB 4 and upgrade to a 32GB. I got a 16GB Mini and I haven't filled it up yet.

That being said, the 32GB iPad 4 would be my recommendation or even the 16GB 4. The Mini was a good buy when it dropped but I expect the Mini 2 to be a milestone improvement.
