I think we need to consolidate all LTE spottings into one big thread.

Lately T-Mobile has been turning on their LTE network and there has been many threads withs, "T-Mobile LTE is on in 'said area'. Why not just have a single thread for this.

For me I can't wait for LTE to turn on in the Tampa area.

***LTE Confirmed Areas*** Most locations/sightings are taken from the T-Mobile LTE Speedtest thread.

For me I can't wait for LTE to turn on in the Tampa area.

This thread will become infinitely more useful, especially when it gets longer, if you update this post as people add more info. This way the first post always has an updated list, this allowing viewers the freedom of not having to read the whole thread front to back. Just a suggestion!

I think T-Mobile has beat Sprint (in terms of having LTE in my area first).

I'm still waiting for Miami to go LTE live, from other forum members, they have said that there are sporadic sightings of LTE coverage in S. Beach. I can't wait for LTE to go live here in S. Florida.

Sure hope that May/June timeline for Tampa is right. I'm ditching Verizon and joining T-Mo as soon as my contract is up on July 3rd.

I sure hope so too. Haven't seen LTE just yet. Although 4G speeds have slowed down a bit. Could it be that T-Mobile is preparing to turn on LTE or just the network is congested?

I recommend giving TMO a test run before ditching your current provider. I tried it, and it was unusable (data) in the Boston area.

I already know T-Mobile has excellent coverage in and around my area. I used to have but I left for the iPhone, and a lot of my friends and family have them. Unfortunately that's not the case everywhere and a lot of people are stuck choosing between the lesser of the two evils (AT&T and Verizon).

People are definitely putting down T-Mobile a lot. T-Mobile has a company is growing, slowly but I'm sure they'll definitely pass Sprint when everything is in order.

When they are switching to LTE, are there temporary signal / speed issues? I am south of Dallas and have always gotten a good 4G signal with speeds of 7-10. The last two days, I can't get a data signal at work and the signal is week with a lot of "No Service". In town, my speed is down to 1.6, although the signal is ok. I can't figure out if TMobile is having tower issues or if I'm having phone issues

AFAIK...

Current 42mbps HSPA-DC is riding on AWS spectrum...

In order to deploy LTE on their AWS spectrum... they are going to have to take down the HSPA-DC...

But maybe not... *shrug*

Been getting blips of LTE all day in Trenton/Princeton area of NJ. It was switching between LTE and 4G a lot, but it's been sitting on LTE for the past 5-10 minutes consistently.

It's only about 7 down/3 up, but it's the first time I've seen LTE around here. Excite.
