Hi
I am trying to restore my iPhone 5 to a backup I copied.
Previously I have had trouble finding the right backup, so last time I thought a step ahead... I backed the phone up, went to preferences, went to backups, asked to show the backup in finder and copied those files to downloads.
The next day I want to restore, but I can't find the backup when clicking 'Restore from backup' or in the preferences menu...
How can I use the copied files to restore, that's the only thing I have for sure...
Thanks

Shift key on mac(don't know what it is called) and click restore backup from the backup. I have not tried this before but have done it with installing ios.
