An app for different 11 inch resolution options?

I (probably stupidly) assumed there would be a resolution other than the native one which would take up the 11 inch Air's full screen without black side bars. Maybe it's a naive question but is there an app that can help with this at all?

My MBA 2013 can do five screen resolutions:

1366 x 768
1152 x 720
1024 x 768
1024 x 640
800 x 600

And only the native resolution does not have black bars.

Yep, that's the point I'm making. I am looking for an app that could offer a 16:9 ratio at a lower resolution than the native.

This was dissapointing to me also since I wanted to have a lower resolution, full screen option too. 13" one has multiple full screen resolutions

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, you can't add customisable 16:9 resolutions on QuickRes, and ResolutionTab doesn't support the 11 inch MacBook Air.

Actually, MBA 11" can add 1280x720 and 1920x1080 (!), which are precisely 16:9, but you have to enable "Show Stretched Sizes" in the Advanced tab bar of QuickRes preferences. Pretty sweet!

Ah, I was using the free version. I've just bought the paid version and have tried out the 1280x720 option. Not bad so far. Many thanks for this. :)
