Trying to update to the New SMC to play The Witcher 2 but everytime I try to mandually install I get "This software is not supported on your system."

I reseted my SMC by holding ctrl, opt, shift and power.

It still does the same thing. I made sure a bunch of time if I download the correct version.

Any one else getting the same issue?

It would help to know what your system specs are, what your current SMC version is (found by generating a system report from "About This Mac"), and what SMC version you're trying to update to.

You're absolutely certain you've downloaded the correct file? Based on your specs, this is a Retina model, correct?

What does it say your SMC version is when you check the full system report? Go to the Apple menu, select "About This Mac", "More Info", "System Report."

I've attached a screenshot with what you need to look at highlighted in red.
