Hello everyone, I am thinking to buy an iMac for work (I am freelancer) but sometimes to play some games like League of Legends or World of Warcraft. My question is if the iMac GT640 can run this two games or its best to buy the iMac with GT650? Thanks. (Sorry for bad English, I am from Portugal).

LoL and WoW aren't terribly stressful, and the 640M can run them at probably low-medium settings. If you become interested in newer or more demanding games in the next couple of years though, that 640M will struggle.

I want run LoL 60 fps and WoW smoothly, without any lag.

You're better off iwth the 650m model. Apple really botched the GPU's in the 2012 iMacs and then gimped them with 512MB's of RAM instead of 1GB standard.

To get a real GPU, you need to step up to the 27 inch and still be forced to go with the GTX675M because the 660M isn't much better than the 650M and yet still has millions more pixels to push.

I hope they get it right with the 2013's.

I dont really like the 27'' imac because they're too big and too expensive. I can give 1800 euros for the mac, should I buy macbook pro?

You'll be fine with the 650M in the 21.5" for the games you want. I was just saying if you had more intensive games, you'd need a better GPU.

i have the 21.5" imac with 650M and 1 T fusion drive. I play LOL/Diablo3/Starcraft 2 only on Mountain lion, LOL native resolution everything at high(shadows low) and another setting to medium and i get 60fps all the time except where are 5v5 fights.

I've never played that specific game, but in other games the walking maneuver requires simultaneous left+right click, and that isn't possible on on Apple's mouse. In WoW you can substitute with command-click.
