1080p 50Hz or 60Hz or Auto?

I'm in the UK, and just got a 3rd gen ATV. I have a Toshiba 42" LCD 1080p TV, and it seems to display find regardless of whether I set the ATV to 1080p 50Hz or 1080p 60Hz. Althought I did notice that my TV's aspect setting of "Exact Scan" is greyed out if I set the ATV to 60Hz...

So which should I choose?

Somewhere Back In The Long Ago
We have a 46" Toshiba in the bedroom...the ATV is set to "Auto" and that seems to be fine...we stream from our large media server too where we have a huge collection of movies, TV shows etc. and the auto setting works fine there too.
