no updates page on the App Store App for iPad Mini

This is my problem on my iPad Mini. When I go to the app store page and touch the updates icon the page is blank--white. The other pages for featured, top charts, genius, purchased all show the page.

I cannot update my apps because the apps don't show up on the updates page. It is all white (blank).

I have tried restarting and rebooting but it does not work. Any ideas?

Okay hopefully we can get some help on this. I get the little red number telling me that I have updates but still can't open the updates page.
