Okay the title says it all. Not quite but i filmed movies at six flags great adventure on a canon camera I used this card to film.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00965J6QE...e=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B00965J6QE

the movies run from 30 seconds to 10 minutes the files are 1080p small files are 132 mb big files are 2.64gb

I can put the files on a sdxc card and mail the card to the person that has an ipad. but it looks like ipads do not use sdxc cards for input to what does a gen 2 ipad use to input. and what does a gen 3 ipad use. tia

Use iMovie to get it into an acceptable format, import to iTunes then sync to the iPad.

It is a friends ipad I am not sure I want to synch to it. but imovie should help since she will not need 1080p as her ipad is 720p? or something like that

1028 by 768 is much smaller then 1920 by 1080 so that will help a lot,

Does your friend have a computer? Does she want the videos to be on her iPad permanently, or does she just want to watch them once?
