We have a spare HP workstation that's essentially going unused, which contains a PC version of nvidia Quadro 4000. Since my poor 12-core Mac Pro is running 2x 5770s, I really want to use the Quadro instead. I primarily run Premiere and AE CS 6. And no I didn't spec the Mac Pro, was there before I got hired.

Is it possible to use the PC version of Quadro 4000 in a Mac Pro? I can easily do without the boot screen, and will only have to sacrifice one of the 2 ATI cards, so I could put that in as needed.

What say you?

Yes, it will work just fine, no boot screens. And, I would run the Nvidia web drivers along with the CUDA driver.
