Could they iWatch see the return of the click wheel?

All these rectangular executions of smart watches look very odd.

Imagine a circular screen that had a virtual click wheel built in. Making selections would require a deliberate circle motion with a finger, eliminating the risk of accidental taps on the wrist. This would also be a much faster way to scroll through a series of items, unlike the app by app swipe that the galaxy gear incorporates (samsung touts 70 apps for the watch, imagine having to swipe 70 times to get to the app you want!).

iOS 7 also includes far more circle based graphics than any iOS before it, which could be an indicator.

Samsung's execution seems horrible, sure.

Apple's been reported to delay the iWatch until they can achieve a 4-5 day battery life.

Wearable devices are the future, one day people will be saying "the idea of having a big clunky device to control everything in your digital life that you have to carry in your pocket is such a stupid idea."

look at the way our culture has viewed the future and technology for decades. Watches that can take photos, give instant information, but remain completely inconspicuous and don't get in the way of your daily life. Glasses that give you heads up display info that again are inconspicuous, and give instant and helpful data to your every day life.

these devices can monitor health and contextualize the world around you, allowing for more efficient decision making and more information at your instant grasp.

the current executions out there are horrible, just as touch screen devices were a decade ago, and computers were decades before that. horrible might not be the best word, but clunky, inefficient, slow, cumbersome, and a steep learning curve...

interested to hear why you think the above doesn't have any value. again, i agree that the way things are going now, there's nothing but room for improvement.
