What about an app for cursive handwriting that allows students to trace over cursive letters with stylus type device on iPad? Then when they write on their own on screen ( maybe need some kind of special cover that attaches to iPad), if they don't form the letter correctly the color changes and they have to practice the misformed letter. For example: students do not make the right number of humps on m after the letter o. Some students form f with a bottom loop on the wrong side... The cursive would have to be one of the cursive publishing companies. Maybe these penmanship companies should develop this? If students can't write cursive, they won't be able to read it. Closes off communication written in cursive by grandparents, historic journals, etc. if students don't know cursive.
