Im thinking of buying my iPhone for the first time from Apple instead of sprint because of the customer service. But I'm not too keen on waking at 5am and sitting in line...
So what i want to know is are there and more specific advantages from buying it at Apple instead of a corporate Sprint store (of which I'm sure the line will be quite small)

1....Apple store or online you get 30 day return grace period

1A..Apple store or online you can purchase the AppleCare +

2. Carrier store you will get a 14 day return grace period

2A..Carrier store, if you want the AppleCare + you must bring the phone into any Apple store within 30 days so they can check it out if you want it. Apple last year stated to me that if you live 50 miles or more you can call into AppleCare + direct line and they should sell it to you. Some got lucky and got it even though they did not live 50+ miles from a store.

"Important notes

AppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days of the date you bought your new iPhone. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ with your iPhone, you may purchase it at an Apple Retail Store or by calling the AppleCare Contact Center. To buy AppleCare+ at an Apple Retail Store, a Specialist will first need to verify your iPhone purchase date and confirm that your iPhone has no pre-existing damage. Find an Apple Retail Store. To buy AppleCare+ from the AppleCare Contact Center, you will be required to verify your purchase date and run a diagnostic to confirm that your iPhone has no pre-existing damage.

See AppleCare+ Terms and Conditions for complete product details."
