Advantages of buying in store vs carrier

2. Carrier store you will get a 14 day return grace period

2A..Carrier store, if you want the AppleCare + you must bring the phone into any Apple store within 30 days so they can check it out if you want it. Apple last year stated to me that if you live 50 miles or more you can call into AppleCare + direct line and they should sell it to you. Some got lucky and got it even though they did not live 50+ miles from a store.

Bull. Apple's policy is better, but all the major carriers allow returns.
