Hi all.I have IMac and I tried install windows 8 via USB Flash. Because my DVDRom is dead. :S

iMac 21.5" , mid 2010
OS X ver. 10.8.4


so i search a lot of things on the internet.Then found this video;

i did everything telling in video. Everythings ok. I restart and choose EfiBoot as told in video.

But when i choose HDD partition a problem appers like picture;

Given that your iMac came with an internal optical drive, you have two choices for Windows installation, either fix your internal drive or use a VM tool to install Windows as explained in this thread. The EFI Boot approach may or may not work with your specific Mac model, but won't work under Boot Camp due to the GPT requirement.

Windows is "seeing" your hybrid mbr partition table (which Mac's have for Boot Camp purposes) and therefore treating your partition table as mbr.
In order to install Windows (must be 64 bit iirc) in EFI you need to wipe its present partition table and create a new GUID partition table in its place (which will erase everything on your drive), or, possibly convert your present partition table to GPT only. Have a look at http://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/ for how to do that (and its possible pitfalls).
