Hi everyone,
I got an MBA off eBay which was said to have liquid damage and boots only sporadically. After cleaning everything, it only wants to boot when i do an SMC bypass (hold pwr button, connect magsafe, keep holding pwr button, after 10sec release pwr button). When i try to boot normally, nothing happens. The magsafe won't light up either.
I took it apart again, and then i saw the logic board misses an entire IC. Is there anyone with the same board, who could look for me what i am missing, so i can (hopefully) replace it.
It's the IC in the red circle, located at the back of the logic board.
