I currently have a 24" BenQ 241W monitor, 16x10, 1920x1200 -- works out to about 94 dpi.
I'm considering a Thunderbolt display, which at 27", 16x9, 2560x1440 -- works out at about 108 dpi.
As I cannot place them side-by-side, I was hoping to get some comments from those with experience with different resolutions as to whether the difference between 94 dpi and 108dpi would be noticeable (at normal desktop viewing distance -- which in my home office is about 28" from the screen) -- in other words, whether it would be worth the bother to pick up a TBD to sit next to my BenQ at home to make a final judgment.
Thanks!
