Folks: I'm running Snow Leopard on a MacMini. For some reason, the search feature in finder has gone "blind" in searches. Even when I _know_ a file exists on a given drive or folder it still does not appear in a search.

For example: I have a text file named "vehicles" with the contents "cars and trucks". When I type any of the above terms in the finder search window the file is not found -- whether I search for file name or content.

I am of need of searching content on an entire external USB disk for a work project and need to get this sorted out.

Ideas?

Thanks!
