Amazon's digital software store is offering MacRumors readers an exclusive $15 one-time discount on software purchased through their downloadable Mac software section and Digital Software sections on Amazon.com.

The discount is available using the coupon code MACR0913 which expires on October 6th at 11:59 PST. It is limited to one use per customer, and excludes games.

The discount can be used for any downloadable software (Mac or PC), including the just released Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Adobe Premiere Elements 12. Photoshop and Premiere Elements are Adobe's lower-cost photo and video editing software aimed at consumers.

MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Amazon.

It doesn't look like there is a minimum purchase for this coupon code. I added a $15 piece of software to my cart and then applied the discount and the software is now free.

Is Pixelmator available on Amazon? I couldn't find it.

Is there any other good software in the $15-20 range?

At first it didn't let you apply for what I wanted and now I pick anything and says it's not valid.

Tried getting Quickbooks for Mac download and was told the code is invalid. Waste of time as other readers have said.

Didn't work for me; just tried to get a free copy of GTA San Andreas and it said the code isn't valid for this order.

Nope.

EDIT: By the way. You get a downloader to download the app, but then you get an additional DMG that is like downloading it from the publisher's website. It's not tied to Amazon's servers or anything fishy like that. Updates are done with Sparkle, which we've all been using for a decade now probably.

Looks like discount works for purchases over $30.

Edit: They changed something, now works with any downloadable software.
