Hi,

Have a mid 2010 macbook pro I want to put an SSD in to boost performance.

I'm looking for up to date advice on the largest capacity, most cost effective SSD's that will fit. (I have done a search but posts all seem over a year old).

Has anyone done it recently? What models should I look for?

I believe the best value SSD right now is the Samsung 840 EVO and it will fit in your machine. You can pick whatever size you want on Amazon.
