application help

Hello,

I upgraded to mavericks a while ago and found yesterday an app that I haven't installed yet. So I tried to installed it, though the installation succeeded I can't open the app. It gives a dialog box "u cannot open this application with this version of OSX"

Now, I know that in windows there's like a way to open your program with an older version of it.. Is there any chance that this goes in OSX too?

I'd really would appreciate any help !
