I doubt they will use the 4770K in a Mini: this seems Hackentoshish. If they do use them and put out a Mini, I'd buy instantly.

WEll, the HD4600 would match the gimping of the iGPU to prevent folks, who want any graphics intent activities, from going with the mini instead of the iMac, MBP and MP.
HD4600 graphics with an i7 mobile quad-core processor.....but there is a possibility to find an i7 mobile dual-core processor with HD5100 graphics.
If you buy an i5 configuration, it will go with HD5000 graphics....
This is my opinion.
It will be either HD4600 for both i5 and i7 or the Iris and Iris Pro for the i5 and i7.
Apple won't go back to duel core processors for the i7, and I expect them to use the same processors that the retina MacBook Pro 13" an 15" use just like last time.

I agree about the 13"rMBP CPUs for basic models - that's a given.
All I was pointing out is that the quad i7 with HD4600 option perfectly fits Apple's approach of non-compete with more expensive offerings when it comes to GPUs.
Remeber, Apple's goal with the mini has always been to make the mini a much less compelling offering for GPU to force folks to up-buy to get GPU performance. I would be floored if they offered the HD5200.
I don't think this happens as it would mean Apple would be putting a worse graphics chip in the premium mini than they are using in the MacBook Air.
IMHO, the HD5000 in the MBA is the new baseline. Everything will be HD5000 or better from here on out and if you look at the actual Intel specs on available Haswell mobile CPUs of clock speeds 2 GHz or greater, I think that translates to HD51000 for an i5 mini and HD52000 for an i7 mini.
But I can see them going with the "the quad is a server only upgrade, and thus there is no need for any advanced graphics, so 4600 it is."
Apple hates, hates, HATES losing sales of iMac, MBP and MP to the mini, when it comes to graphics intensive apps. You may be correct with the 5000 being the bare minimum. But releasing a 5200 in the mini, without an outrageous markup, would be a titanic shift from the status quo.

As discussed in the past, APPLE has to redesign (or re-arrange) the outer case of Mac Mini to host Iris Pro 5200 graphics along with quad core i7 mobile processor. You know...(MAX TDP 45W of case vs. 47W TDP of quad i7 + 5200).
I hope I will be wrong ...time will tell...
