So there is no way if knowing RAM without a tear down? I'm nut sure I need to know because my Air performs beautifully.

download an app like "system status". it shows everything and more than you ever want to see in a very easy way.

it's a also pretty good app anyway especially when needed to "release" about 35% of system memory . note : i have found this extremely helpful when my ipad and iphone performance become sluggish (even after closing apps). ios doesn't always release unused memory when apps are closed. i'm not complaming about ios. this is more if a FYI that might be helpful to some (like me and people i know) and not helpful to others.
