I today got a new rMBP, a beast of a machine. However, I have to sell my 2010 15" MBP due to this purchase. I have Mavericks on it, and I have to wipe all my stuff out, because I don't want any one creeping on my personal stuff from the day I sell it.

How do I reinstall Mavericks, so all my personal information is deleted?

Easy peasy, install it as you normally would.

But when you get the first Mavericks installer screen, open Disk Utility and erase the disk first:
