Acrobat and Flash installers Disappear

Area of problem: In Windows 7 running in Parallels

Problem: Installing Acrobat Reader and Flash Player for FireFox.
Both Installers just disappear when run and nothing installs.

This is the only strange problem I have had with Windows 7 running under Parallels. All my other installations and software is running great.

Is this an Adobe problem. Is there an easy fix?

It's because Adobe uses their silly auto-deleting stub installers by default. I too find this behavior irritating. Fortunately, you can work around it by downloading the full installer (which the stub downloads) directly from Adobe's FTP server. Good luck finding the link though... Adobe makes it hard to use this method.
