How often does Apple generally get replacement stock for refurb items?

I'm eyeing a 5th gen 32gb iPod touch as a holiday gift. Several sites have it available for ~$280 new (cyber monday price?). As of this writing, Apple is out of their refurb 5th gen iPod touch 32gb model. I don't want to miss out on the $280 price, but will wait a bit if I can be fairly sure to get a refurb from the Apple store. Input appreciated.

Check the refurbished store daily. It is frequently replenished with more stock, but often in small quantities so it can sell out again quickly.

Thanks. I'll do that. So, from your experience, they trickle in, but regularly?

Yes. A while back I was trying to pick up a 6th gen nano. I checked nightly and saw a variety of different models coming and going. I expect the same would happen with the iPod touch.
