Why is it so hard to find a decent USB hub ?!

After several hours reading posts here, reviews in amazon, etc... I cannot simply find a USB hub that just WORKS for Mac.

All of them seem to have some kind of issue, or with coming back from sleep and disconnecting drives or with something else.

Can anyone point me to a bullet proof good quality USB hub ?! Don't care if USB 3.0 or 2.0, just needs to be powered.

The Satechi 7-port powered hub is quite popular, and so is the Belkin 4-port powered hub.

Just remember to take reviews with a grain of salt... Not everyone writes a review. As a matter of fact, most people only follow up about a product if they are unhappy.

For most electronics, the majority of people who buy the product and it works as intended will never come back to write a good review. The people who are unhappy will very frequently follow up.

Amazon has done a good job encouraging people to review products no matter what there satisfaction level. But still, most cumulative review results are skewed far towards the negative
