Thinking of buying a external memory back for my 5 year iMac.
I am currently running 10.6.8 with 1 gb of memory. Would a 1 tb backup be advisable or should I go for a 2 tb ?

Thanks for advice and your time.:apple:

An external hard drive you mean? Get 1TB or 2TB depending on your needs, taking into account data growth. Not sure how we are meant to decide for you...

The difference is about $20-30 for the extra TB. Go for the 2TB drive.

This should come down to your needs. How much data do you have, how much space do you need and how much is the price difference for a 1 TB external HDD and a 2 TB external HDD.
