I'm picking up a Mac Mini i7 in the New Year. I want to connect it to both, my 22 inch Dell monitor, and my HDTV (for movies). I understand that the Mini has a HDMI output on it so thats pretty simple - a standard HDMI cable ??? (please correct me if I'm wrong). As for the Dell monitor, I have a DVI/DVI cable..but will I need an adapter of some sort to connect to the Mini ??? Or would another connection be preferable ???

Thanks

Get an Apple TV for the television. With Mavericks it'll show up as a 2nd display, plus you can use it with iTunes shared library.
