Unless the film's producers are utterly useless at their job (unlikely), then I imagine Apple gave them quite a bit of money for advertising their products. I seen more Macs in that film than Coca Cola bottles in shameless talent show programs.
Actually, it is well known that Apple does not pay for product placement. They will only give them free machines. This is why you'll see the Apple logo sometimes awkwardly concealed by a sticker on TV shows.
