iPod Problem with iPod Shuffle 4th gen

So I just bought a Product (RED) iPod Shuffle and transfered my music from iTunes but when I connect any of my 3 earbuds, it just won't work... I already left it charging for about 5 hours and nothing. Yes, it's on.

Any suggestions? I even did a restore of the software too...

Yes... I think I will return it. It's weird because iTunes already transfers my music to it

One question, If I bought it in Texas, can I trade it here in Mexico for a new one? The device is one week old.
